Home Made Bread Recipes: You’ll Never Buy Bread Again

If you normally buy bread from a market, you should know that it is packaged with additives. These additives may be harmful to your welling and in many cases are quite toxic. Fortunately, we prepared for you several bread recipes, which you are able to prepare at home. These recipes are a healthier choice, as they are gluten free. Moreover, they may be mad with whole wheat flour and kombucha sourdough.


It is strongly recommended that you use SAF-INSTANT yeast, which does not need proofing.



1 egg
1 1/3 cups water to equal
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 ½ teaspoon sea salt
4 cups bread flour
1 ½ teaspoon instant yeast/bread machine yeast or 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

You need to combine all of the ingredients till you get a homogeneous mixture, using a mixer or bread machine. However, should you choose the mix it by hand, combine all ingredients except the flour. After that, add the flour slowly and mix it well with the other fixings. It’s combined further with hands for about 5 – 10 minutes when the dough is stiff.

Then, cover the dough and let it stay for 20 minutes. It’s going to grow almost the double in size. Then, you need to split it into the desired number of buns or loaves. Grease a baking pan or cover it using a baking paper and set them. Bake buns for a quarter hour and bread for 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.



2 1/3 cups fresh sourdough starter
3 1/3 cups flour
1 ½ cup (approximate) water
Small tbsp salt

Blend all of the ingredients, except the water. Knead the dough until it’s thin enough to allow the light to pass through when it’s stretched between four fingers. Subsequently, form it into a loaf of bread and allow it to rise to a double in size. Next, reshape it again and place it in a baking pan. Bake for 30-60 minutes at 400 degrees.



7 oz of mashed potatoes
2 ½ tbs sugar or honey
2 tablespoons softened butter
3 ½ cups bread flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons dry yeast or 1 ½ teaspoon saf – instant yeast

First prepare the mashed potatoes. Then, put in a kitchen machine and mix for 6-8 minutes while adding flour. However, if you knead it by hand, combine all the ingredients, except the flour. Next, add the flour. The dough might be a little bit stickier. Let it grow for 20 minutes, punch it down, and allow it to rise again. Bake at 375 degrees F for 40-45 minutes.



1 ¼ cup warm water
1 tbsp sugar
Saf- 1 tablespoon bread machine yeast or instant yeast
1 teaspoon sea salt
3 ½ cups bread flour

2 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon salt

Start by combining the sugar, yeast and salt and dissolve them in water that is warm. Afterward, add flour cup by cup until the dough is firm. Let it let to rise again until double in size, punch down and grow for 20 minutes. Next, set it in greased pan and let it rise again. Brush the loaf with the glaze and bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
